Victim in fatal Tuesday Springfield accident identified

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – More details have been released about an accident Tuesday that claimed the life of a woman.

According to a news release from Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon, the victim is identified as Rhonda Mueller, 60.  Allmon says Mueller was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday on Wabash Ave.

Allmon says an autopsy on Mueller indicated the cause of death was blunt force trauma, but that an investigation continues.
