Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – A truck hitting a power pole then a house has caused a power outage and some reduced traffic.

According to City Water, Light, and Power, the accident happened Thursday morning, near 9th and Miller Streets.

The power outage is limited to more than 100 customers from 8th to 10th Streets, between North Grand and Carpenter Streets.

Northbound 9th Street traffic lanes are closed as well, said CWLP.  Because of the outage, traffic lights are not working, making intersections four-way stops.

Everything is expected to be back to normal by 11 a.m.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
