Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Dusty is a 1-year-old pit mix with a heart full of love and the sweetest personality. This lovely boy is a true cuddlebug who adores his people and isn’t shy about showing it.

He’s been working hard on his leash skills and has already made great improvements—he’s eager to learn and wants to do his best. Dusty loves going on walks and is wonderful at making eye contact, which makes training and bonding with him extra rewarding.

With his big, goofy smile and silly charm, Dusty is guaranteed to make you laugh. He’s a joyful, affectionate pup who is more than ready to find a family to call his own. Come meet Dusty and fall in love! He’s available for adoption or foster at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
