Crime of the Week:  Help needed solving Springfield pharmacy robbery

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a theft that occurred at CVS Pharmacy, 2703 Adlai Stevenson Dr, in Springfield.

On September 11, 2025, around 2 pm, the suspect, who is believed to be a male wearing all black clothing and a mask, entered the store and headed to the pharmacy.  As the suspect approached the pharmacy counter, he jumped over the counter, took medicine off the shelf and then fled the store in an unknown direction.
