Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to help the Springfield Police Department to identify two individuals in reference to a stolen vehicle.
On July 25, 2026, officers were called to an area around the lake in reference to a vehicle being stolen. It was reported that sometime in the early morning hours a 2020 Black Audi had been stolen. Officers were able to recover the vehicle; however the investigation has led to two subjects needing to be identified that were possibly involved.
