Trooper Chapman-Green is back home

Trooper Dakotah “Kody” Chapman-Green is back home with his family after two weeks in the hospital and a rehab center, according to the Illinois State Police. The trooper was injured during a traffic stop on Toronto Rd. on October 24th. Chapman-Green was shot and also suffered facial fractures, a skull fracture, and a brain bleed. The suspect, 37-year-old Cristobal Santana of Chicago is facing attempted murder and multiple battery charges.
