A 16-year-old juvenile has been arrested in connection with a vehicle theft.
Springfield Police report a Sangamon County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a stolen vehicle around 4:10am Thursday, which had been stolen from the 2500 block of South 4th Street.
The youth was transported to Macon County and is believed to be connected to other vehicle burglaries in the area.
